Positron annihilation spectrometer

Description

The paper describes a system for determining angular distributions of quanta of two-photon positron annihilation. In order to check the device the angular distributions in Al, Fe, Ni and the angles corresponding to maximum values of the Fermi momentum for conductance electrons were determined. The values (6,84+-0,30) mrad for Al and (4,55+-0,40) mrad Ni were obtained. The 11,9 mrad for FWHM of angular distribution in Fe were measured. (author)
