Magnetic phase diagram of the UAs - USe system

Description
The UAssub(1-x)Sesub(x) system was investigated in detail by means of magnetic susceptibility and magnetization measurements. For UAs the sharp transition on the chi vs. T curve at 41 K has been additionally found. For the compositions with x < 0.10 the IA-I and probably again to IA transitions were observed. For the samples with x between 0.1 and 0.2 only the type IA exists below Tsub(N). For the samples with higher selenium concentrations with x up to 0.55, the magnetic phase diagram of this system is more complex. Basing on both the magnetic and neutron diffraction results the composition ranges of the existence of the IA and LSW magnetic structures have been determined. For x> 0.55 all samples are ferro magnetic. (author)
