Nondestructive neutron activation analysis of manganese present in some sea nodules (Preprint No. RA-33)

  • 1. Nagpur Univ. (India). Dept. of Chemistry

Description

Manganese present in some samples of sea nodules is determined by nondestructive neutron activation analysis (NDNAA), atomic absorption spectroscopic (AAS) and spectrophotometric methods. The results obtained by NDNAA and spectrophotometric method are in good agreement. Low results obtained by AAS may be due to the presence of SO2 which suppresses the manganese signal. (author)
