Description
We analyze deep sub-barrier backward quasielastic scattering data for the very massive 86Kr+208Pb system, in order to derive the surface diffuseness of the nucleus-nucleus interaction potential in a very massive system, and to compare this value with the ones found in lighter systems. The derived diffuseness value is around 0.70, similar to the ones obtained for lighter quasi-spherical systems
