Description
The 5-crucible electron-gun of the 45 cm vacuum chamber has been adapted so that evaporation from 3 of the 5 crucibles can be carried out simultaneously. This will considerably improve our ability to produce alloy and superconducting thin films, without the nescessity of adding two separate e-guns to the system. A vacuum chamber with heated substrate holder has been designed and built for preparing thin film superconductors by laser ablation and sputtering. 1 fig
