Beta-spectrometer with magnetic filter of miniorange type

Description
A beta spectrometer with a semiconductor detector and the magnetic filter of microorange type is developed. The spectrometer is intended for measuring the gamma radiation internal conversion coefficients. The beta spectrometer efficiency is investigated for different assemblies of the miniorange magnet. Discrimination of the positron continuous background by means of the magnetic filter permitted to establish the multipolarity of gamma transition in a set of terbium isotopes
