Development of large area low-energy β source of 63Ni
Description
The method for preparing low energy β source of 63Ni with active area of 100 mm x 60 mm by electrodeposition is developed. The activity of the large area source is 22.2 GBq and the deposition efficiency of 63Ni is over 96%. The radioactive material 63Ni is uniformly distributed on the copper matrix and the nonuniformity is less than 5%
