Preliminary investigation on Bremsstrahlung imaging
- 1. Memorial Hospital, Sun Yat-Sen Univ. of Medical Sciences, Guangzhou (China)
Description
Using Sophy DSX SPECT and 32P or 90Y as the radioactive sources, the optimal Bremsstrahlung imaging condition with different collimators, various widths of energy window and different distance was discussed. The results showed that the Bremsstrahlung spectrum was continuous, the satisfactory images can be obtained with high-energy collimator and 80 keV-60% energy window scale or empirical-window; when the distance between collimator and source was short. Preliminary clinical result was also satisfactory. Thereby, it was suggested that SPECT can be applied to Beamstrahlung imaging
