Renewable energies: the first hydrogen power plant appears

Description

The italian energy group ENEL is building for 2010 a new power plant which will use the by-products of the petrochemical industry to produce electricity without CO2 emission. It will operate with pure hydrogen as fuel and will be supplied by a pipeline of 4 km, from around petrochemical industries. (A.L.B.)
