In this section one author reviews some of the possible physics to be studied with a machine such as HERA, the Hadron Electron-Ring-Facility. He discusses such topoics a kinematics, weak neutral current, new heavy leptons and quarks, and strong interactions. However, the main focus of the article is on HERA; with great detail, complete with photographs and diagrams, the author describes the site and buildings, the electon ring, proton ring, the spin rototors and luminosity. He concludes with a report on the status of Hera, and a potential time frame for the construction of the various parts
