Crystal dynamics of thorium

Description
Lattice dynamics of thorium (fee) has been studied on the basis of a five parameter angular force electron gas model. The total interaction is divided in three parts viz the central, the angular and the electron-ion terms. Dispersion curves derived from the model are compared with experimental ones and the agreement obtained is quite good. (author)
