Description
The changes in the activity of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), malate hydrogenase (MDH) and alkaline phosphatase (AP) were investigated in the blood serum of rats under the effect of the radioprotector Adeturon. Measurements was made at the 10th, 20th, 60th, 120th and 240th min after administration of the protector. It was observed that the changes in the activity of the tested enzymes differ in the time of their occurrence, direction, magnitude and duration. Most prolonged in time were changes in LDH activity. The data obtained are not sufficient to interpret the mechanism of the changes, but support the concept of the influence of the chemical radioprotection on cell metabolism
