Localising cancer with small gamma cameras

Description

The article describes briefly a new technology for a small, hand held gamma camera which uses cadmium-telluride semiconductors and phosphorus amplifiers. A prototype is constructed and some results of it's use are presented. Clinical tests are in progress. Advantages in nuclear medicine are briefly discussed
