Higher-dimension gluon operators and hadronic scattering

Description
We discuss an effective field theory involving dimension-six and dimension-eight operators composed of gluon field strengths and color-covariant derivatives. The independent operators are enumerated, their contributions to various partonic scattering processes are assessed, and potential SSC probes of their characteristic energy scales are estimated.
