Description
The advanced multi-parameter data acquisition system (AMPS) has been in regular use in experiments at BARC-TIFR Pelletron facility. The system has now been upgraded to improve the throughput and functionality to meet the increasing demands from the user community e.g. the proposed gamma detector array, INGA. The system hardware and software have been modified to provide higher data throughout with a new PCI bus compatible CAMAC-PC interface and a scheme for multi-crate functionality has been worked out
