To compare the difference of assessing renal function between dynamic kidney imaging GFR assay and intravenous pyelography
- 1. Fuzhou General Hospital of PLA, Fuzhou (China). Dept. of Nuclear Medicine
Description
Objective: To compare the deference of assessing renal function of 71 nephrosis patients between dynamic kidney imaging GFR assay and intravenous pyelography (IVP). Methods: Dynamic kidney imaging GFR assay by using SPECT and injecting 99mTc-DTPA to get the image of blood, renal function and GFR, IVP by routine method. Results: In 28 cases which were hypofunction by IVP, there were 4 cases having normal function by dynamic kidney imaging GFR assay. In 52 cases which were not function by IVP, there were 3 cases having normal function, 20 cases having hypofunction by dynamic kidney imaging GFR assay. Conclusion: dynamic kidney imaging GFR assay was more accurate than IVP in assessing renal function
