Effect of local non-uniform impulsive electromagnetic field on plasticity and strength of conductiv e materials

Description

A physical model of pulsed electromagnetic field (PEF) effect on mechanical properties of conducting materials of a wide class is suggested. The following materials are investigated: AMr-5, M-1, materials on the base of molybdenum oxide powder, bronze + Nb, bimetal St 3+Mo. Macroscopic parameters (specific energy of EM field pulse) and its duration as well as the value of preliminary strain E characterizing PEMF effect on the process of plastic strain are formulated. Macroscopic experiments on investigation into the effect of q, tau and epsilon parameters on plasticity and strength characteristics of AMG-5, M-1 alloys, material on the base of molybdenum oxide powder, bimetal St3+Mo and filament composite of Bsub(r)+Nb system are conducted
