Spatial charge limited currents (SCLC) in amorphous films
Description
Electroconductivity of amorphous films produced by sputtering ceramic superconducting targets Y-Ba-Cu-O over nickel substrate is investigated. Measurements were performed in 77-300K temperature range at different voltages across the sample. When mean electric field is does not exceed 105V/cm, volt-ampere characteristics can be described within the scope of models of special charge limited currents (SCLC) by exponential dependence where the exponent is close to 2. It is characteristic for the systems with multienergy traps. It is ascertained that electric strength of films exceeds 3.106 V/cm which points to a possibility to use them in high electric fields
