Description
Based on the Geant4 MC simulation platform, passive mapping of the gamma mapping system is simulated. Then, mapping experiment of standard sealed γ point source is performed using γ mapping system, and the mapping characteristic is analyzied preliminarily. The results show that, the mapping effect is closely related to the source intensity, the distance between source and detector, exposure time. Generally, the more source intensity and the less distance could lead to less time to acquire the explicit image, more exact localization of the gamma source, and more accurate localization of the 'hot point'.
