Photometric methods of analysis of high purity substances

  • 1. AN Ukrainskoj SSR, Odessa. Inst. Obshchej i Neorganicheskoj Khimii

Description

The review is devoted to photometric methods of analysis of high-purity substances. Means are described to enhance the sensitivity of the method: use of photo-multipliers, use of small capacity cells, greater masses of the sample of the substance under analysis, use of new organic reagents with greater molar coefficients of extinction (mostly used are associates of basic dyes with metalhalogen acids). Procedures are described for photometric determination of several impurities in a single substance and for the determination of individual impurities (metals, semi-metals, iodine) in high-purity substances. The review contains 294 references
