Radiographic testing of weld root part of steam turbines in hot state

Description
The article deals with specific features of radiation imaging under a simultaneous effect of temperature and ionizing radiation on the film with subsequent enhancement of image optical density by silver dispersion method. The obtained results allowed to determine production parameters of radiographic testing of weld root parts of steam turbines in hot state under which the film maintains physical and mechanical as well as sensitometric properties
