Radiotherapy for cerebral metastases
Description
Radiotherapy was applied to 35 patients with cerebral metastases. Complaints decreased in 70% of the patients, but survival time for all of them was only 6.3 months. In adequate cases neurosurgical extirpation of metastases should be applied. Intensification of interdisciplinary therapy should bring about improvement of therapy of cerebral metastases. (author)
