Tunneling effect on break junction contacts in Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O:Pb
- 1. Moskovskij Gosudarstvennyj Univ., Moscow (Russian Federation)
Description
A comparative experimental investigation of current-voltage characteristics I(V) on break junction contacts in small grain size (L∼1 μm) and large grain size (L∼50 μm) polycrystalline samples Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O:Pb (2:2:1:2-phase) with Tc=86 K was carried out. Using the Dynes method, the value of the gap parameter Δ(0) was calculated (2Δ(0)/kTc=5.8), and is in good agreement with the data of other authors. The temperature dependence of the gap parameter Δ(T) was determined, which, when normalized, agrees well with the formal BCS theory
