Description

Pionic x-ray intensity ratios in chromium compounds were compared with those from muonic x-rays. The ratios were found depending on the μ- capture ratio as on μ- capture. The difference of the ratios between Cr(H2O)6Cl3 and CrCl3 was attributed to the formation of pseudoneutron μ-p by interaction of hydrogenic protons during passage of a pion in the hydrated compound.
