α(m2Z) and the standard model fits
Description
The importance of α(m2Z) for the Standard Model fits is discussed. It is shown that the error of α(m2Z) ultimately limits the Standard Model interpretation of the sin2 θlepteff measurements. Possibilities for improvements are being discussed. (author)
