First clinical results with advanced multiple beam equalization radiography (AMBER) in chest radiology

Description

The purpose of this prospective study was to evaluate the efficacy of the advanced multiple-beam equalization radiography (AMBER) system in chest radiography, compared to a conventional chest radiography system. Both healthy volunteers and patients with different known pathologies were studied. The results indicate that the AMBER system is superior to the conventional system in displaying mediastinal structures, the retrocardiac area, and soft tissues
