Introduction to supersymmetry
Description
This chapter examines global supersymmetry (not supergravity) and describes some recent results. Discusses Bose-Fermi symmetry; supersymmetry and the large numbers; Tr(-1) /SUP F/ ; and another approach to mass hierarchies. Explains that the ''bare'' Planck mass should probably be of order M, the fundamental mass scale of the theory. Points out that the observed Planck mass is larger in today's universe because of a sort of renormalization effect. Presents discussions featuring Witten, Seiberg, Coleman, and others
