Synthesis and structure of Ca8CeMg(PO4)6SiO4

Description
A new compound, that is, Ca8CeMg(PO4)6SiO4 was synthesized. Ca8CeMg(PO4)6SiO4 structure was determined by means of Ritweld method (sp. gr. R3c, Z = 6, a = 10.4916(2), c = 37.531(1) A, V = 3577(1) A3, RWP = 6.03, RP = 450, RI = 3.44, RF = 1.88, RE = 2.86). The compound is isostructural to β-Ca3(PO4)2 and to witlokeet mineral. Calcium and cerium cations populate jointly three positions within the structure, while cerium and magnesium cations populate jointly one position

Синтезировано новое соединение Ca8CeMg(PO4)6SiO4. Структура Ca8CeMg(PO4)6SiO4 определена методом Ритвельда (пр. гр. R3c, Z = 6, a 10.4916(2), c = 37.531(1) A, V = 3577(1) A3, RWP = 6.03, RP = 450, RI 3.44, RF = 1.88, RE = 2.86). Соединение изоструктурно β-Ca3(PO4)2 и минералу витлокиту. Катионы кальция и церия совместно заселяют три позиции в структуре, катионы церия и магния совместно заселяют одну позициюAdditional details
