Description

The invention deals with a tool aimed at repairing the joint situated between the body and the cap of a tap which comprises a body mounted on a pipe and a cap welded on the body. It comprises a frame with clamps on the body-pipe element, a circular track in the frame containing a ring driven to rotate around the axis of the cap, and a tool support mounted on the ring, this tool support carrying an adjustable tool to operate at the joint level. The invention applies, more particularly, to the repair automatically of taps of a nuclear power plant

Abstract (French)

L'invention se rapporte a un outillage destine a travailler au niveau du joint entre le corps et le chapeau d'un robinet constitue d'un corps monte sur une conduite et d'un chapeau soude sur le corps. Selon l'invention l'outillage est constitue: d'un bati muni de moyens de fixation sur l'ensemble corps-conduite et d'une piste circulaire usinee a la surface du bati, centree autour du chapeau; d'une couronne mobile en rotation autour de l'axe du chapeau, a l'interieur de ladite piste; des moyens solidaires du bati susceptibles de faire tourner la couronne autour de l'axe du chapeau; un support d'outil monte sur la couronne; un outil monte de facon reglable sur le support d'outil de facon a venir travailler au niveau du joint entre le corps et le chapeau. L'invention s'applique en particulier a la refection des robinets d'une centrale nucleaire. L'operation peut etre realisee de facon automatique
