Partial thermodynamic properties of oxides in region of oxygen α-solid solutions in vanadium at high temperature
Description
Using the method of e. m. f. with solid electrolyte thermodynamical properties of oxides in the region of α-solid solutions of oxygen in vanadium at the temperature of 1100-1400 K have been studied. The analysis of the studied samples for oxygen content in them is realized in parallel using two methods: by vacuum melting (the analysis accuracy .. is +-2x10-3 x in VOsub(x)) and by their further oxidation to V2O5. Phase composition of the samples is determined by the method of X-ray phase analysis. Data on the measurement of δGsub(Osub(2)), δHsub(Osub(2)), δSsub(Osub(2)) of the VOsub(x) investigated oxides are reduced into a table. Temperature dependence of limiting oxygen solubility in α-vanadium is calculated
