The method for automatic control of vacuum-crystallizer working conditions

The invention relates to the automation of production processes. One possible use for it is the regulation of crystallization in equipment designed to produce hydroxide crystals of metallic salts whose nuclei have large thermal neutron capture cross-sections. To obtain stable crystal formation and homogeneous crystal composition, the feed of input solution is regulated according to the quantity of crystals present, and this in turn is determined from the difference in the degree of slowing of a fast neutron flux by the suspension and by the mother solution. A practical scheme for regulating the operating regime of a vacuum crystallizer is described. (O.V.)
