Photoelectric cross sections at L-edges

Description
In the present investigations, low energy photon cross sections are determined in the energy range 6 to 32 keV using X-rays or gamma rays from radioactive isotopes 57Co (6.4, 7.1, 14.41 keV), 65Zn (8.04 keV), 75Se (10.53 keV) and Mo-Koverlinedα (17.44 keV), Ag-Koverlinedα (22.1 keV), Ag-Koverlinedsub(β1) (24.93 keV), 32.06 keV (Ba-Koverlinedα) using a variable energy X-ray source in elements Pd, Ag, Cd and Pt on a good geometry set-up using a high resolution Si(Li) detecting system.
