Radiation decay of giant resonances in the gas-drop model

Description
Expressions for the width and the angular distributions of γ-quanta in the direct decay of isoscalar giant resonances have been obtained within the framework of the nuclear semiclassical Gas-Liquid model combined with a quantum description of the emitted energy. The results of the γ-width calculations are compared with experimental data for the quadrupole resonances
