Anomalies in electrical resistivity behaviour for alloys with short-range order under irradiation
- 1. Kievskij Univ., (Ukraine)
Description
A study is made into the electron radiation effect on residual conductivity and structural-phase state of Cu-15 at.% Al and Ag-15 at.% Al unsaturated solutions. Residual conductivity dose dependences are shown to display a deep minimum. The intensity of X-ray diffuse scattering in the range of superlattice maxima decreases under irradiation. Diffuse scattering intensity distribution is quite different for irradiated and nonirradiated materials even after annealing at 500-600 deg C. Such results can be explained by a radiation-induced nonuniform short-range order appearing in solid solutions at high fluences
