Determination of trace elements in crude oil and base rock samples by INAA and RNAA techniques on Dalat reactor

Description

By some improvements of time condition for irradiation, decay, counting and also for sample amount, sample geometry, configuration, the method using INAA and RNAA techniques on the Dalat research reactor for determination of 15 trace and ultra-trace elements (Na, Mg, K, Ca, Ti, V, Cr, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Sr, Mo, In and Sn) in crude oil and base rock samples has been completed and available. The accuracy and precision of most elements is rather good, but of some elements (Ti and Cu in base rock, Sr and Sn in crude oil) is acceptable. The quality control has been carried out by analysis of some SRMs. (HMD)
