Description

We have investigated the radiative interference effects in the electron-recombination process on the groups of mutually overlapping double-excited states of a heliumlike multicharged ion. Numerical calculations for the cross section of dielectronic recombination with U91+ are presented. The relative magnitude of the effects is found to reach about 25%
