1400 MW PWR series preliminary report on the safety heat sink
Description
After a general review of the characteristics of the PWR N4 series and special conditions concerning the Civaux site which led to the installation of a closed type essential service water system circuit with cooling towers, the authors presents the main outlines and characteristics of the system. He then draws conclusions on certain safety aspects of the circuit as well as the further study programme required for these cooling towers
