Description

During the 1988 run of the CERN panti p collider, the upgraded UA2 experiment has collected data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.5 pb-1. A preliminary analysis of these data is presented here. The production of W and Z0 bosons is observed to be in good agreement with previously published cross-sections. A selection of events with an electron, missing transverse momentum and two or more jets is described, in order to search for a possible Top quark signal. No evidence of a Top signal for 30 ≤ MTop ≤ 60 GeV/c2 is found. (orig.)
