Actual developments in hydrogen control
Description
The tests involve subjecting the plate to a flow of test gas containing hydrogen and measuring temperature increase. A simple, easy-to-transport test facility is available for this purpose which allows performance of the test within a few minutes at the place of installation. Furthermore tests have been performed on optimized recombiners to determine throughputs with varying containment pressures and hydrogen concentrations at the inlet and a recombination test was performed with a full-scale FR 90/1-1500 in the Battelle multi-compartment containment model
