Description
It is shown that the recently developed polarization test for one-particle-exchange processes, when applied to 6 GeV/c elastic p-p scattering data and interpreted in the framework of QCD, indicates a predominance of 'one-gluon-exchange'. The result appears to be completely independent of the way protons dissociate into quarks and of the way quarks recombine into protons. (orig.)
