Interaction of titanium (zirconium) nitride - molybdenum or tungsten in heterophase materials on interface boundaries during sintering

Description
The methods of metallographic and radiographic analyses, local X-ray mcicroanalysis are used to study TiN-Mo, TiN-W, ZrN-Mo, Zr-W interaction on interfaces both directly in heterophase materials after sintering and with contacting of respective compact specimens at 1900-2150 deg C. Cohesion between phase components (nitride-refractory metal) is shown to occur due to diffusion interaction of nitride phase elements with metal accompanied by formation of solid solutions (localized in a narrow contact zone) on the metal base
