Study on the (αd) and (αt) reactions on 9Be nucleus at Esub(α)=30 MeV

Description

Angular distributions of deuterons and tritons from (αd) and (αt) reactions on 9Be nucleus at Esub(α)=3O MeV are measured. An attempt is made to estimate contributions to differential cross section of different simplest mechanisms. The results of the experiment are compared with calculations using the method of distorted waves for direct and exchange processes. A conclusion is made on necessity of accountancy of heavy particle stripping in the investigated reactions. The analysis has revealed that relative contribution of substitution mechanisms is by several orders lower than that of stripping processes
