Characterization and ion exchange in hydrated tungsten oxides

Description
This work describes the study of the ion-exchange behaviour of hydrous tungsten oxides obtained from a national scheelite. The compounds were characterized by thermogravimetry (T G), porosimetric analysis, X-rays diffractometry, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and surface area measurements. The exchange capacity of their compounds with sodium and potassium ions were determined in a continuous process including the regeneration of the exchanger. (author)
