Some approaches to standardization of separate and joint influences of radiation and chemical factors

The analysis of numerous experimental data on variation of the main integral index of environmental exposure - the average lifetime (ALT) - under conditions of separate and combined exposure to radiation chemical and physical factors is presented. The experiments were conducted with animals of different species (rats, mice, dogs). It is shown that the coefficients of weakening and strengthening of combined effects can be determined for a particular combination of the factors, and experimentally determined ALT criterion may be used for standardization of different environmental exposure factors
