Skeletal bone lesions and the effectiveness of bonephos (clodronat) application in complex therapy for multiple myeloma

Description

The material on studying the efficiency of the bonephos (clodronat) application in the complex therapy of multiple myeloma (MM) are presented. It is established by the results of roentgenologic studied that the bonephos is a highly-effective preparation, which quickly cuts the ossalgic syndrome in the MM patients, normalizes calcium content in the blood serum and reduces the loss of calcium with urine. Application of the preparation during the long period of time decreases the risk of forming new tumor infiltrates in bones

Abstract (Russian)

Представлены материалы по изучению эффективности использования бенефоса (клодроната) в комплексной терапии больных множественными миеломами (ММ). По результатам рентгенологических исследований установлено, что бенефос является высокоэффективным препаратом, который быстро купирует оссалгический синдром у больных ММ, нормализует содержание кальция в сыворотке крови и уменьшает потерю кальция с мочой. Применение препарата в течении длительного срока (не менее 60 дней) снижает риск появления новых опухолевых инфильтратов в костях
