Intracavitary radiotherapy of uterine cancer under computerization of planning and therapeutic schedules on AGAT-VU apparatus

Description
Gamma-therapeutic apparatus AGAT-VU charged by 3 sources with 60Co radionuclide is developed and tested successfully in clinical conditions. During clinical tests of the apparatus, a mode of individual programming of radiation conditions in tumors of endometrium and cervix uteri is used. It provides high qualitative characteristics of treatment due to a wide variability of a dose field formed together with the possibility of directed strengthening or attenuation of radiation effect intensity in a target
