Fission cross section measurements around 14 MeV

Description

The report includes two separate papers. In one of them the U-235 fission cross section induced by 14.2 MeV neutrons was measured by the time correlated associated particle method and the value obtained is (2.078+-0.040) barn. In the other one the fission cross section ratio of U-238 to U-235 induced by 14.7 MeV neutrons was measured using the same method and the value obtained is sigmasub(f)(U-238)/sigmasub(f)(U-235)=0.565+-0.014
