Aspects for application of a new correction program for X-ray spectrometry

Description

The program P 88 corrects the influence of matrix elements on the results of an analysis with the aid of their intensities. The correction coefficients are determined by the multiple regression calculation. The concentrations of the matrix elements are used as correction values in a new method of evaluation which supplements the existing program and thus gives high flexibility and analytical efficiency to the program as a whole. Das Rechnerprogramm P 88 korrigiert den Einfluss der Matrixelemente auf das Analysenergebnis mit Hilfe ihrer Intensitaeten. Die Korrekturkoeffizienten werden dabei durch die multiple Regressionsrechnung bestimmt. Bei einer neuen Auswertemethode, die das bisherige Programm ergaenzt und damit dem gesamten Programmsystem eine hohe Flexibilitaet und analytische Wirksamkeit verleiht, finden die Konzentrationen der Matrixelemente als Korrekturgroessen Verwendung.
