Josephson current in tunneling between coupled superconductors

  • 1. Lincoln Laboratory, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Lexington, Massachusetts 02173

Description

It is of pedagogical interest to observe that the phase-dependent Josephson supercurrent between coupled superconductors is a conserved axial-vector current: A Short derivation based on standard invariance principle of quantum field theory is presented.
