Description
This contribution is a review of (K, π) strangeness exchange experiments done at CERN during the past 7 years. Both Δ and Σ hypernuclear states have been observed. They are interpreted as the recoilless production of Hyperons in shell model states. The analysis of measurements on carbon and oxygen reveals information about the spin orbit splitting in Hypernuclei. (author)
